Little Red Riding Hood
Greetings from Liverpool, England!
We are well into our Europe jaunt, and minus a few van and gear kinks, things are going wonderfully.
A while back I was asked to record a cover of the song “Hey there Little Red Riding Hood” for a Volvo commercial. The commercial started airing this week and I think it’s pretty damn cute.
Stay tuned. Barsuk is going to release a full version of the cover soon. I never though I’d cover a Sam Sham and the Pharaohs song but it was so fun! Perhaps I should record Wooly Bully next.

I just watched the Volvo commercial and IMMEDIATELY googled and this was the first result. I LOVED the original song when I was little, and you’re version is amazing too!

Tantalizing, sultry, gritty. Your fantastic voice gives new life to this song and it couldnt have been put to vision better than that commercial (sort of humorous but more bad ass).
I too am waiting patiently for this to pop up on itunes or some other place where I can claim it. (Did I say patiently waiting? I meant pulling my hair out having to watch that commercial over and over just to hear the song.)

I can’t wait to hear the full version! As soon as I heard it on the commercial I tried to find it.
I think it would be a perfect song for an episode on the TV show, Grimm. (Also filmed in Portland, OR)
